E-mail: davidz@qcinet.net 		I was stationed at Sawyer from 6/75 to 8/78 with the security police sq. and worked C flt. The base was wonderful back then.I first lived in Skandia until I moved on base and lived at 307 Bomarc. I visited the base about 10 years ago. Sad. a ghost town. Many good memories, a few bad ones,(the b-52 crash of 77). I'll always have respect for those I served with; Lt.Col. Paul Samulski, Overton, Tippett, Goudreau,and many others. I would love to hear from those I served with. God Bless !

E-mail: lalianas@hotmail.com 		What a wonderful website! I am so sorry to hear of Larry's passing but what a great gift he left behind for all of us. The hours it took to compile this create such a wonderful trip down memory lane. My father (James "Rudy" Spurlock) served at KI from 1968 to 1971 when he was relocated to Florida. He retired and we moved back to Gwinn where he went to work on KI in Base Supply until his death in 1987. I have many fond memories of our years and often think of bringing my son back to Gwinn as it was such a good place to grow up.

E-mail: kathyburgoyne@yahoo.com 		K.I. Sawyer was my fathers last duty post from August 1973 - June 1976.

It's hard to believe that it's been 31 yea**ince I celebrated my sweet 16th birthday there at K.I. Sawyer AFB. We lived at 310 Dart Street.

I don't kindly remember the winters there LOL, having to shovel all of that snow.

I do remember the long bus ride everyday to and from Gwinn High School, those were some fond memories.
