I returned 17 years later while on a business trip to Escanaba.I was amazed to see that the area and base had not changed very much, from Browns Tavern to the Northwoods Super Club. Great trip down memory lane. I would enjoy hearing from anyone stationed at KI during that time frame.

There was nothing like snowmobiling or sledding down the hill onbase...Thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories!!!

E-mail: wd3ab@yahoo.com 		This website is great!!! It brought back a lot of memories. I lived at KI as a dependant (1981-1987). My dad, Abe Hill, worked for CES and we lived at 511 Liberator. Best memories - Liberator Hill for sledding and coming home covered in sap from climbing the pine trees.

We both had 1965 Chevy Impala Super Sports, 327/300. His Silver Grey and Mine Sierra Tan (Gold), both with black vinyl tops. Lt. Col. Phenis was our commander.
