I was stationed at KI from Oct 78 to Jun 80 -- assigned to the 410th Security Police Group (LE side). Recall many a cold night patroling the base and all its nooks and crannys -- used to hate doing building checks at the old "sage" building (is it still there?) and the ski lodge.

It's sad to see how unkept and run down some of the old buildings are, especially the single Airmens barracks. I was a supply man assigned to the 410 CES from Jan. 74 through mid 76...three winters as time is told in the UP. I loved it!!!

Michelle and I started our family at KI and decorated our house with SHOPKO goods!! Still in the service with 20 yea**erved to date. Would have loved to PCS back....appreciate any emails from old friends.

Fishing, baseball, hiking, sleding, etc. We lived on Lancer St. Would love to hear from old friends that remember! Thanks for the memories!

E-mail: unlapin@aol.com 		Andy was stationed at KI from 7/61 to 7/67, in the 526th Bomb Sq. as an EW. His last crew was John Herrings. We lived at 264 Falcon St. Our first home there was a log cabin at Palmer "resort"! We had Julie 4 months old with us, no hot water, no heat..Son Andy was born there in '62 and daughter Renee in '63. FYI former Balt. Oriole great Mike Bordick was a youngster there then, his dad was stationed at KI. We'll be at the reunion, have rented a town house on Electra. See you there!

E-mail: geraldtigchon@highstream.net 		I was stationed at Sawyer from 1966-70. I worked in the field maint. division as an aircraft electrician. I remember a slew of names of other family members(that's what we were). If anyone wants to chat about people we worked with in the 62FIS, contact me. Alot of years have passed, and I would be very suprised if many or any of my supervisors are still around. There are too many people I would like to find the where-abouts of to list. Hopefully they will stumble on to this website like I did. THANKS!
