E-mail: biga@i2k.net 		I was stationed at K.I. Sawyer from May 1967 to Nov. 1969. I was in the 806th Medical Group and worked in the registrars office. My last trip to Sawyer was in 1995 just before the base closed. I really enjoyed my time there and would like to here from my old friends from the hospital.

Thanks for the website ... My dad was stationed at KI 1960 to 1966. We lived on Fortress after living one year in Marquette. I learned to ski on the old ski hill, fished and hiked in the forests out the back gate, and remember the announcement of JFKs death either at or on the way home from Gwinn High School. Many memories...

E-mail: buckdharma7@yahoo.com 		What a great site. Larry, you and I were neighbors as my Dad was stationed at KI from 70 -72. We lived in the first house on the corner of Fury St. I was a freshman at Gwinn HS during the 71-72 school year. Favorite memories include sledding on a great hill behind Banshee and catching perch in a lake farther back from there. Hopping on the back of my folks Ski Doo and going to Browns tavern on a Saturday afternoon. Great hamburgers at this place in Marquette called Big Al's. Biking on the many trails through the woods that criss crossed behind the base housing. KI was a great place to be a kid...
